High Plains Pizza - Oakley

We were there about a week ago. The pages were large and well maintained. We were really excited to hang by the pool, but it was closed because of the recent storms. I would accidentally double (and believe I got a refund for one of the bookings last year when I made it). They had me as two sides and I was confused, but not a big deal. The new owner/manager was very accommodating in the middle of being when some ugly old lady began to bark at me via a button for no refund when I booked. She asked who I talked to a JAHRE-AGO, and told me that I would not get a refund (what I did not ask and maybe would have already got anyway). She suddenly disappeared when she came, and the new owner apologized. She told me, thank you for not letting me take the Facebook reviews and let me choose one of the two spots I had booked. She was very friendly and friendly. If the reviews feel like you'd rather drive another hour or something, I'd understand. The elderly lady who threatens almost every person who leaves a bad rating is a bit much. But the people who run things now seem very interested in rebuilding the reputation of the campsite. They are good people and deserve the chance. You should give them a chance.

Easy to find when on the 83rd cleaning and plenty of space in any amount. The floors kept very tidy without seeing dog fairs. Bonus was the beer and pizza right in the office/bar/restaurant. The owners say they go to retirement so I can't say how it will be with the new owner, but we'd stay here again.

Surely practically clean, we were back one night after Denver one night. My wife and I were intimidated by the rules. Smoking, smoke in your RV or car, and no open flames We decided that we could not cook with our propane grill, we could not sit outside with our propane fire pit like 99% other parks with fire bans. We couldn't find the pub people talked about. All the nice place for a survivor.

Very friendly and attentive owners. They took care of us while they visited family in town. The sides are all clean and well maintained. There is a dog park that is a plus for our family. The showers are very clean and tidy. Security was excellent. Back!

I had a nice stay here. Utilities work well. Sites are level. Wifi is not blazing fast, but definitely sufficient. I couldn't get the cable TV to work. Price was reasonable. Owners are friendly. There is some freeway noise and some burrs on the ground. Looks like they had more shade trees at one point, but many are cut down. Location is convenient--just don't trust GPS if it wants to take you downtown. This place is right off the freeway.
