The Kon-tiki - Oakland

This Tiki bar serves the best burger in the Bay Area. Many people are surprised by how delicious the burgers are at a Tiki bar, but once they try them, they agree that they are truly outstanding.

The bartender was fantastic, very friendly and personal! The food was also delicious and we loved the selection of Tiki barware.

I recently had another fantastic tiki experience at this restaurant, which is decorated with oceanic artwork. The menu offers a combination of classic drinks and unique creations, with some interesting twists on newer beverages. I visited with my best friend and we each ordered our own drinks before sharing a Phoenix Bowl. My first drink, the Kon-Tiki Zombie, put a new spin on a classic favorite with a spicier kick compared to the traditional Jamaican Zombie. The Phoenix Bowl included Campari, which isn't usually my favorite ingredient, but the balance of bitterness with the sweetness of the other flavors was perfect. The staff was very accommodating in addressing allergen concerns, which I always appreciate. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I can't wait to come back again!

Regarding tiki bars, this is great. the beverage menu is extensive, eating is quite good, and the inner is dark illuminated and a funny time.

World-class nouveau-Tiki bar with a diverse, well-curated rum list and surprisingly delightful kitchen. The bar staff are experts in crafting rum cocktails (e.g. daiquiri, rum old fashioned, Ti’ punch) and masterful revisions of Tiki classics such as zombies, grogs and Mai Tais. Kitchen is open late and consistently excellent.
