Sparky's - Oakland

BBQ bacon burger was amazing! A real good quality burger. Servicers were also genuinely nice.

Smallish place, but good American food, parking can sometimes suck

Their food and service has declined a bit since they first opened. Still a decent burger. Great outdoor patio that is shaded.

The burgers are good, meat is fresh, veggies also and the bun delicious. They also have beer on tap, which is great. My main complaint about Sparky's is the service... Consistently scattered.

Wow, what a surprise. Normally I would visit Barney's across the street, but my friends and I figured we'd try something new. So we came into Sparky's and wow, the burgers here are really good! Barney's is more of a fancy burger which you expect to be good, and Sparkey's is more of a backyard bbq 4th of July Burger done by professionals. Both good in their own respects, so you can't go wrong either way. But if it were between the two, I would choose Sparkey's, because when I think of a burger and how it should taste, this is it.
