Contribuiți la feedbackThis place is incredible. The first thing you notice walking in is the atmosphere. Excellent ambience, dark and moody lighting which I love, and a great layout. I came here for the pizza. I grew up in New Haven CT, home to some of the greatest pizza in the country. I got the Marinara pizza here and asked for a side of parm to sprinkle on it. It was immaculate. Excellent leoparding char on the crust, perfectly seasoned sauce, and ideal chew on the dough. I got dessert of seared peaches with a scoop of gelato. Absolutely banging. The syrup on mine was a bit past caramelized and was burnt, but plenty of it was ideal. I’d rather have it like that than under done. 10/10 will return and devour more marinara pies.
Absolutely fantastic experience at Pizzaiolo! It was worth waiting 15-20 mins in the line as don’t accept reservations. The wood-fired pizza is simply outstanding, with a unique blend of flavors that sets it apart from anything else. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed meal. We’ll definitely be back for more!
Pretty good… Monday night kinda busy. Table open. Took 20 minutes to get the table set and get seated. Seemed a bit lazy. Music was loud. Kinda have to yell. I think that’s the vibe. But why. Pizza was good. Not super creative. But tasty. Simple good dough and spicy sauce. Pretty tasty toppings Pricey. Two pizzas. one small salad. 4 beers. 2 cocktails. Tip. $190. I guess that’s the Bay Area. Will I go back? Hard to say.
Both the burrata and the grilled apricot/fig dessert are exquisitely delicious.
I was unhappy with my experience here. I ordered 3 items on Doordash for pick up: seasonal vegetables, pepperoni pizza, and Wild Arugula, Prosciutto di Parma Grana . 1. When I arrived at the restaurant, the receptionist helped someone arrived after me before she checked my order. 2. When she handed me the order, there were only 2 items. The Wild Arugula, Prosciutto di Parma Grana was missing. Here attached a photo of the order ticket, also missing one item looked like they did not send my order to kitchen corrctly. 3. The receptionist went to checked with a waiter, and they realized the order was wrongly placed but did not apologize for their mistakes. 4. The Wild Arugula, Prosciutto di Parma Grana was shown as a salad in picture on DoorDash, so I had been expecting a salad instead of a pizza. 5. The waiter told me the kitchen started cooking the missing item Wild Arugula, Prosciutto di Parma Grana and asked me to wait another 5 minutes. 6. Once the last item was finished, I saw that 's a pizza. So I explained to the waiter the picture on door dash showed it as a salad. The waiter said, the picture is wrong. But it 's definitely a pizza. Again, no apology for the wrong picture and confusion it caused, or the inconvenience it caused me. At this point, all my food is getting cold, I was hungry, and the restaurant was busy, so I did not bother to argue upon that situation. But I was unhappy with this whole experience. 7. This restaurant is apparently busy and popular. I eat here often too. All I expected is basic restaurant service including transparency and respect. I don 't deserve the arrogance presented by the staff. My experience today 's reflected poor internal management and customer service. I kindly ask the restaurant to change the menu picture, apologize to me, and train their staff better to avoid this kind of situation in the future.
