Contribuiți la feedbackI worked with an adjacent Alameda company and for every special occasion (human births, promotions, farewell parties etc.) we would always drive to Phnom Penh. This is one of the best places where you can go for a casual, sparing meal. I can't say enough good things about this local time! This is definitely a hole in the wall, Mom Pop-Shop. But for the person in knowing this will be a feast of delicious Cambodia dishes. Prices are reasonable; and you order family style so you will be able to sample tons of new foods and determine your own personal favorites. Service is not high, but it is appropriate for a mother pop connection. Only down is this place sooo goooood and popular that you need to wait for a table. Don't be discouraged, but it's worth waiting! Being in New York, I'm always longing for this place. And when I fly in Oakland, I usually try to clean my pick-up driver to swing through this joint to eat a bite. This place has my adoration and must definitely be visited!
I love this place! It is a great place to go if you want to look for a casual dinner with your friends or pick something for a simple dinner at home. They serve cambodian cuisine and I recommend the fish via bean thread with vegetables. It can be quite busy at weekends, but is a simple place to go during weekdays. Prices are moderate. The owners are very friendly and open to questions.
Curious about cambodian food, I came here after reading so many positive reviews about this place. a small nut 'n pop shop in chinatown, phnom penh house is not much to see from outside and is actually quite easy to drive through w/o even noticing. but the food and service is delicious and warm, and enough to return you for more for a lazy dinner night (either for sit down or going out). for a Tuesday nite, the place was quite crowded and probably a good indication of how much it liked.
Very casual delicious cambodian food. One of my favorites
Three fantastic dishes! Noodles, red snapper, chicken…
