Local Foodz Cali - Oakland

I live in Texas. My mother is in Cali. When she is heading to the hospital and asks you to help with food, you panic. That is, until you contact Sunny at LoCal Foodz. Not only was the customer service TOP NOTCH, but the food was excellent as well. I was able to find foods both my (picky mother and father would enjoy, at a very reasonable price. Turn around time was quick, delivery was good. This will now be my go-to place when Mom needs help (and I think she has already ordered more! .

High quality food and very professional service in general

LoCal has been working out very well for me. I have been using their service for a over year now. I like that the meals are fresh, not frozen, and that they are fully prepared. no prep work or cooking. I mostly use the ala carte option to choose the portion sizes and meals best for me. I have used their meals for weight loss, but by no means is their entire selection geared for this. There are plenty of options for folks who want good food without cooking, and for people who burn more calories than I can. I eat salmon two to three times per week! It's cooked sous vide so it's moist. I take the skin off after warming and before saucing (with TJ's chimichurri) so it's not too fishy. I also like the smoked paprika chicken thigh with red pepper sauce and yams/acorn squash. another go-to for me is the chicken bulgogi. I order a side of mushrooms, ginger glaze, and walnuts. I have never eaten consistently heathier at home.

From the first time I ordered from LoCal Foodz two years ago, I have always been beyond thrilled with the service and quality of meals I have received. The meals are always fresh and flavorful. And I love that they are always adding new options to the menu. I love that every meal’s nutritional information is readily available. For someone who keeps track of their daily macros, this is invaluable and sooooo convenient. Quick delivery means that I save time going to the grocery store. And obviously the fact that I don’t have to do the cooking myself is a game changer. And the customer service is excellent. They are attentive and responsive and you can tell they are passionate about their customers and making healthy eating convenient. LoCal Foodz has had such a positive impact in my life. Not only do I love it, but my husband and kids do too! I’m so thankful to live in a time where services like LoCal Foodz exist to make it easier to live a healthy lifestyle.
