As a fitness enthusiast who burns a significant amount of calories, the Bento box here stood out for its quality and generous portions. The food and service are impeccable, reflecting a genuine commitment to excellence. Upon entering, the Japanese-themed ambiance transports you, enhancing the dining experience. The customer service is consistently excellent, contributing to an overall memorable visit. While parking can be challenging at times, the superb food makes it well worth the effort. I wholeheartedly recommend Kansai to anyone seeking top-notch Bento boxes and sushi. Despite the occasional parking difficulty, the promise of exceptional food ensures I will return to Kansai whenever I find myself in Oakland.

I have made this my to go to before work spot. Food is great, great deals for lunch, which is fantastic. Service could improve a bit more, but they're really nice, don't get me wrong. They don't rush you out. Pleasant atmosphere. Perfect location.

One of the most consistent, affordable and best sushi places in the Bay Area. You will not be disappointed. They make the rolls just the right amount of ingredients and make it taste absolutely mouth watering and reminiscent. Crave worthy and one of the best creations they have is the spicy chirachi bowl! Cannot have enough of that. They have great happy hour specials, and happy hours are long enough and at perfect times. I usually get the volcano roll, spicy chirachi, kansai roll, baked green muscles and gotta have some tempura. This is why I cannot go alone, Must bring friends and family to share the goodness. Their bento box has great selections with generous portions.

Amazing! So fresh, so well prepared and an incredibly kind staff. So willing to take extra steps to make your experience perfect. I cannot find a better place for sushi in the Bay Area, no matter the occasion.
