Good News Cafe - Oakland

Fantastic value for breakfast sandwiches and beverages! I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on an Everything bagel, paired with an iced chai latte. The service was quick, and the prices are among the lowest I've encountered in Oakland!

I really love this café. It's simple, but very good. Some of my favorites are the lox bagel, the Italian melt, and the turkey sandwich. You can't beat the prices, and the service is quick and efficient. They also have solid coffees, especially the Vietnamese iced coffee. There's no indoor seating, but it's a very convenient to grab something to-go if you are heading to Lake Merritt.

They have solid bagels, breakfast sandwiches, their drinks are good too. I appreciate how the breakfast meat is always juicy. This place is definitely somewhere I come back to every week or so when I want to walk by Lake Merritt.

Best breakfast sandwiches in town. Wife and I explored spots all over Oakland, Good News has great breakfast sandwiches! Sausage egg cheese on croissant is top notch!

Amazing prices and super quick service! Their coffee is excellent as well. Due to the pandemic, this place has become quite a cozy spot, but they do have two small benches outside where you can sit and enjoy your coffee. I'm really glad to have Good News Cafe in the neighborhood!
