Emil's Burger Breakfast - Oakland

I have been ordering breakfast and burgers from this restaurant for years and have never had any issues with my orders. I will continue to order from here and recommend it to my friends for their delicious food.

Their scramble arrived with what looked like a lake of melted swiss slices on top. it was basically inedible. The grits were watery, flavorless, and undercooked. I've had better Cream of Wheat

I was very hungry, so I ordered the combo with chicken fried steak, eggs, hash browns, and toast. I also ordered a side of pancakes. The food was excellent and I enjoyed all of it. This is now my favorite breakfast spot.

The food overall is delicious, but my favorite is the Cali burger from Emil's. It is always super fresh and Emil's sauce is incredibly delicious. The breakfast options are also wonderful. The customer service is great too!

This place has gone downhill since Kovid. They are randomly closed during business hours, close early, and do not pick up their phone during business hours. Sad, because the food is good, the price is right, and the location near the barte is great, but we cannot be customers if you never open.
