Connie's Cantina - Oakland

Connie is such a wonderful person, chef, and owner. The BEST Horchata you will ever have. Burritos are huge and so delicious. Everything is fresh. I made a special point to come here to eat after moving away from Oakland over 10 years ago. It is one of my goto, favorite places.

Worst meal I’ve ever had in my entire life, no lie, 711 next door they got better Mexican food. Lady rude as hell too, I wouldn’t be inclined to write this otherwise, at least be friendly if your food is microwaved garbage. I’m sick reliving this experience idk how this is a business.

This place feels like home! Connie, you are the best! I ordered the chilaquiles with rice and beans, which reminded me of Mexico's breakfast meal. It is worth every penny and I have to mention her coffee. The coffee is sweet with a touch of cinnamon and chocolate! No other restaurant beats Connie's authenticity. She has been running this restaurant for 27 years! Iconic! Check out this Oakland spot!

This restaurant is a disaster waiting to happen. The meat looked questionable and the kitchen was dirty. I ordered a burrito and a torta, but watching the cook prepare the food made me feel sick. It seemed like the meat in the burritos was old and undercooked. I'm surprised this place hasn't been shut down by the health department in Alameda County.

I had a delicious burrito during lunchtime at this restaurant. The taste was exceptional and it was priced at an average of $10. Thank you!
