Sausage pizza was excellent. Shishito pepper pizza was also really good. Cocktails were fine, but not memorable.

Sister is now EVEN BETTER than before, which is saying a lot! Food is even better, kitchen and wait staff so friendly and welcoming and comfortable. The lighting is just right. The back patio is a hidden gem.Can't wait to come back.

All round quality time after time. The lamb ribs are incredible.

One of my favorite restaurants and my top favorite cafe in Oakland, all in one business! Pastries from nearby spots get a lot of buzz but Sister has been quietly kicking out stellar baked goods for even longer. And it's the best hip morning hangout bring a book here, bring a date here, bring some work here you can't go wrong. The wifi is hit or miss so I'd recommend a hotspot. When we've been for dinner, the service has been great every time warm and helpful too. The food has ranged from quite good to outstanding. There was a hamachi crudo seasonal appetizer last year that was.. just... ? Keep up the good work, Sister crew!

Good restaurant but even better cafe! The espresso drinks are excellent and the baked goods even better some of the best I’ve had. There’s usually lots of seating available too.
