However, there were a few aspects I found disappointing. The vegetable sushi contained such tiny pieces of veggies that their flavor was difficult to discern. The fish sushi rolls were decent, but the chicken wings were underwhelming, and the salad made with mixed greens was simply romaine with shredded carrots and a single slice of tomato. On the bright side, the lettuce was fresh and devoid of brown edges or that off-putting smell often found in restaurant salads. Additionally, I noticed a shift in the waitress’s demeanor. She was initially very friendly and welcoming, but became quite frosty as soon as I handed her the payment, which left me with a negative impression. While I don’t necessarily expect genuine friendliness at restaurants (even a polite façade would suffice), the abrupt change to indifference post-payment felt like poor service. I might consider returning to try a couple more items from the menu or to enjoy the ambiance, but it wouldn’t be for a sushi craving.

Wasabi Cafe offers the finest sushi in Fort Lauderdale. The flavor, presentation, and texture of their fish are truly unmatched. The service is excellent as well. I’ve been a loyal customer since their days as the Japanese Fish Market, and I still relish their sushi on a regular basis.
