Smokehouse 41 Bbq - Oakhurst

They ran out of Pork ribs and Tri-tip, so we ordered different meats for our 3 meat plate. The sausage was bomb! I recommend trying it, if you don’t like sausages, this one will definitely change your mind. Brisket was definitely delicious but wish they cut it thinner! Busy place and worth trying!

Delicious meat, absolutely worth trying! The choice was difficult but everything was extremely good! Come early otherwise there may be a lack of choice (trip tip and mac and cheese sold out)

After reading many great reviews about this place, I was surprised by what I experienced tonight. This maybe down to my lack of experience in American BBQ restaurants, however a few comments to share with fellow tourists below. After waiting in a rather long line (good sign! , I was greeted by a subway style ordering system for both dine in AND takeaway. I don’t think this was very well organised, especially at peak hour of the day. Our party tried a number of items and would recommend, Fries, Brisket, Tri- Tip, Mac n Cheese and Potato Casserole. They also offer a very tasty British style bread roll which is worth a taste. Overall a good experience with some tasty food, however I would have liked the opportunity of ordering to the table and more privacy when eating.

If you hate BBQ, don’t come here. Some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. The pork ribs are 10/10.

Food was OK. The four of us ordered the large platter. The sausages tasted best. The ribs were ok, the meat was a bit dry. All in all OK, but definitely not a very good BBQ
