China Delight - Oakhurst

After we've tried all Oakhurst restaurants listed on HappyCow (as of March 2022), we can say that China Delight is by far the best for us. There are more vegan options here than anywhere in the city, and the quality of them is also superior. We enjoyed the tofu with cashew nuts and the sautéed broccoli (which has a little garlic). You can make them gluten-free on request by adjusting the sauces. Do not miss the sesame balls that were delicious and also vegan (which we confirmed in Mandarin and English). Only on the bottom is the take-out package that is an excessive amount of polystyrene and plastic, so consider either in food or bring your own take-out containers.

If you drive from Yosemite to Sequioa, you have to stop here! Friendly staff and delicious food.

My family got the eggplant with spicy garlic sauce, the vegetable joy and the kung pao tofu. The Aubergine was a big hit and well combined with the vegetable joy. The tofu was a little mushy so subtracting for the update of previous review on 2021-10-08

The restaurant is overpriced, the food is too greasy, and the atmosphere is unfriendly. I would rate the food a 3, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 4.

We spent $85 on food that was extremely disappointing. The chicken was undercooked and pink, so we called to request a refund. However, we were denied even when offering to return the uneaten food as proof. The service was also poor, and we would still like a refund. If the owner could contact me, that would be appreciated. Overall, I would rate the service, food, and atmosphere all as a 1 out of 5. This was a take-out dinner with an estimated cost of $20-30 per person.
