Ihop - Oakdale

In August 2021, the food at this restaurant was good. However, they were understaffed and very busy on a Friday morning. The staff and restrooms were average, but the food was nothing out of the ordinary. Unfortunately, it took a long time just to place our order and then wait for the food to arrive. We ended up spending almost 90 minutes there and we were traveling, so we did not want to be there that long.

I had a fantastic experience this morning at the restaurant. Our server, named Rara, was attentive and very friendly. The service was quick and courteous, and the food was excellent. The presentation, temperature, and taste were all wonderful. Surprisingly, the dishes looked just like they did in the menu photos. (As a vegetarian, I swapped the bacon onto my plate!) Everyone involved in the dining experience did a great job, making it a truly enjoyable meal from start to finish.

I wish I could rate this restaurant 6 stars. My family and I arrived in the late morning and were promptly seated. Our food arrived quickly and was cooked perfectly. I was particularly impressed with the French fries and the Mexican burrito. The restaurant was clean and the server was attentive, even though it was moderately busy.

Had a great experience this morning. Our server, I think her name was Rara, she was everywhere and very friendly to boot. The service was fast, polite and the food was one of the best I saw. Visual, temperature-wise, and the taste was great. Believe it or not, it basically looked like the pictures on the menu (guest is vegetarian so that I tipped the bacon to my plate! . From top to bottom, everyone made good or the experience could not have been so complete.

I wish I could give this place six stars. I came in late morning with my family and was sitting right away. Our food came fast and was cooked to perfection. I was particularly impressed by the French Pommes and the Mexican Burrito. The restaurant was clean and the server was attentive, although it was moderately busy.
