Ellie's Coffee Oakbrook Terrace

It 's a decent place but we were looking for a coffee shop. The man at the desk said after being asked if there was coffee selections, we only have black coffee. We 've have these machines and have had them for a while but no one knows how to use them . All we have is regular coffee . While I don 't blame anyone for not having a fancy coffee area, when your looking for coffee and the map says the closet is Ellie 's Coffee , it was very disappointing to not have what you thought, by the name, any other coffee but black . All I 'm saying is the Name of the place is deceiving cus it 's not a coffee bar but rather, just a bar.

Great cafe great people. Machines pay out ! The theme is from the series Friends very chilled atmosphere.

My cousin and I just left Ellie's attempting to play....We waited at the door until a greeter arrived....Finally, an older gentlemen come from the back and stated, WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE, THAT YOUNG MAN CAN'T COME IN, YOU HAVE TO BE 21....While holding up my cousin's ID, I asked the older gentlemen, HOW DO YOU KNOW HE IS NOT 21, YOU DIDNT ASK TO SEE HIS ID....The older gentleman then stated YOU CAN LEAVE....My cousin has Down Syndrome so he is shorter than the average person, but I think he should have been given the opportunity to prove his age.Total discrimination and WE WILL NEVER VISIT HERE AGAINT

Very nice, quiet setting, some dings pings and jingles from machines, but that's to be expected. I'll be back to visit again soon.
