We All Have Cravings Etc. - Oakbank

As indicated by my title, I was pleasantly surprised to discover a restaurant that offers vegan, gluten-free perogies in a remote location like Oakbank. Rural Manitoba is not known for its diverse culinary options, let alone vegan dishes. The perogies at Cravings are delicious, albeit slightly unconventional. They are filled with a vegan potato cheese mixture, topped with green onions and vegan bacon bits. While the restaurant also offers other vegan and gluten-free options, the perogies stood out as the highlight for me. As a new establishment, I am excited to see what other vegan dishes Cravings will introduce. Personally, I hope they add traditional vegan potato cheese perogies and soy-free options to their menu. Nevertheless, I am grateful to have a restaurant like Cravings in the city.
