Nando's Peri-peri - Oak Park

I’m very pleased with the amazing customer service that my boyfriend and I received today at Nando’s the restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was great, the food was DELICIOUS !!! We’ll be back 5/5

I've been here several times, and this time I was very disappointed in the cleanliness. There were bits of food all over our table. I asked an employee if she could wipe it, and rather than collecting the food pieces in the cloth, she just wiped them around, knocking some on the seats. Two employees had eaten at a booth and they left food crumbs all over the table when they got up. There was trash on the bar by the drinks and sauces, napkins weren't stocked, and the bathroom faucet was completely detached from the sink. There were two empty toilet paper rolls on the holder (but extra TP on top). This was a Monday night, so they weren't busy. I was disappointed. The wrap and pit bread were dry and didn't hold together well. The fillings were tasty and fresh though. The employee who took our order was pleasant.

We usually order takeout/DoorDash, and the food is always delicious, filling, and relatively healthy. This time, I ate outside with my baby in a stroller. The outdoor tables chairs were clean, plenty of umbrellas, and gorgeous flowers! The manager was very friendly welcoming. He helped me place my order, clear my dishes, etc. so I wouldn’t have to bring the stroller in out. Much appreciated!
