My experience at george’s was awful. Half of my group where people of color and we felt as though our service was drastically different because of it. My party had to wait at least 20 minutes compared to the other white patrons around us, and when our food finally arrived it was inedible and disgusting. Then at the end of our meal we received the wrong bill, and when receiving the correct bill and attempting to pay the owner of the restaurant tried to swindle us out of cash when paying!! We waited an incredibly long time, as other diners that arrived later than us got their food before us. Then, our orders were consistently messed up, and the hash browns were unseasoned, and the eggs were unedible. As we were walking in to wait for a table, the other diners were quite rude. When we got our bill, we got an incorrect bill double the amount that we needed to pay. It honestly felt a tad bit racially motivated. This has been my go to spot for breakfast. I was really craving a good breakfast after a stay in the hospital and this place came up on my map. We gave it a try and years later its still my go-to spot for breakfast! Fast and friendly service and the pancakes are so very fluffy!!
