Premo's Ice Cream - Oak Lawn

I'm now 32 years old and a mother of three. When I was just three, I would sit on the counter of this ice cream shop every day with my grandfather as our afternoon ritual. Being there brings back so many memories, and I can't help but get teary-eyed watching my children sit up there enjoying ice cream just like I used to. Every time I return to Oak Lawn from Georgia, this place is an absolute must-visit.

This was my first time trying a Glacier, and I can confidently say it's far superior to a Blizzard from Dairy Queen! The hospitality here is amazing as well. I highly recommend you stop by and try their glaciers! <3

You can't go wrong with a vanilla cone topped with roasted coconut. The ice cream is creamy, soft, and delicious. They roll the cone in roasted coconut and add two sugary eyes for a fun touch. Premo also offers an incredible variety of milkshakes. I've been coming here since I was a child—it's a cherished summer tradition for me.

My wife and I have been coming here for years. The service is quick even when it's busy. The ice cream is literally amazing. The let me try a new cone the last time we were there. I believe it was called puerco locone. IT WAS AMAZING!!! I was suppose to leave a review of it here when I came home but I totally forgot. Today I was thinking of going to get some premos then I remembered about the puerco locone. I can't wait to get back there and try it again.
