Barnside Creamery - Oak Harbor

We wait every spring until the barn opens and we are sad when it closes in autumn.

It's nearby and everything they serve is delicious, especially the Buckeye Sundae!

This is a charming little spot located right on the road. The ice cream is delicious, and they are very generous with their servings. I recommend ordering a small, as the portions are quite hefty! The only downside is that they only accept cash, so make sure to come prepared!

The line is always long, which must mean it's worth it, right? The highlight of this restaurant is definitely the beautiful scenery on the way there and back. I especially enjoy visiting at sunset, as I love watching the sun reflect on the lake after indulging in my dessert!
