The first time that I have ever eaten in charlie 's steakhouse, in juni 1966 I was a brand new paratrooper in the 101st airborne division. it was paying day and what better place to go for a meal. the delmonico steak should die. when I ever go back to campbell, I make it to eat here. the time and prices have changed since '66, but the quality and size of the steaks remained. if they are starving there, it is their own fault. my recommendation not eat the kartoffel and salat just eat the steak you can always get salat and kartoffel everywhere but a charlie’s delmonico is a steak lover heaven. enjoy her steak
Have been going there for almost 20 years, the change in ownership is barely noticeable. Best steaks for 100 miles in any direction, including Nashville. Will be going for my third time this month tonight. Kind of pricey, but what isn't these days. You get what you pay for. Steak for two can feed three, and tastes fantastic. Club steak is bone in, three inches thick. Salads and deserts are good too, but conserve room for all the steak, you will need it.
Outstanding food. steaks melt in your mouth. made from scratch blue cheese dressing exceptional ! worth the long drive from Nashville !
This used to be the best restaurant to dine at, but everything changed when the ownership switched hands. It no longer resembles what it was for the previous 40 years. I drove 180 miles to return since moving away, but my visit last week was disappointing. Although I had seen some negative reviews, I thought those were just isolated incidents. Unfortunately, I have to agree now—it’s truly a bad dining experience. We went on a Friday at 4 PM, and there were only 8 customers during our hour and 20-minute stay. It’s such a shame that they’ve taken such a beloved place and turned it into a nightmare. I predict it won’t last a year—no restaurant this poor can survive.
