I was in the mood for sashimi, and a friend recommended Lotus, so I made the 75-minute drive to Milwaukee's Lotus. There was plenty of parking available, and to my delight, they have lunch specials on Mondays and Tuesdays. What a lucky find!

However, we decided to give it a shot because of its good ratings and the desire for sushi beyond what Meijer offers. Now, we indulge in the Monday sushi special every week — it’s both tasty and of high quality. We typically order 3 to 5 rolls between us, trying to keep our total under $40 to $50, since the portion size varies by roll. Having enjoyed sushi in Japan during my last job, I can confidently say the taste here is quite comparable.
