La Trelasse - Nyon

A beautiful restaurant for winterfondue. if you can get a table in the main bar area, they also have an incredible massive log fire. many types offered by fondue, including opportunity, 3 species in a pot all have separated. also large area to...as, to ski or sleigh for young, etc. service is very friendly. highly recommended.

I live in this region and there are many nice places for a fondue near the slopes or in the mountains somewhere calm. But this place is a tourist trap. Expensive, not the best food, service harsh and cold which makes the atmosphere not very...cosy. Better avoid and check out one of the other real Swiss places.

Visited for dinner with a large group of friends. the restaurant was already full when we arrived, good atmosphere, personal friendly, but overwhelmed. if they don't like, they will be domed: a little expensive for what it is.

The place is quite cozy, but a bit cramped. the service was slow. the waitress was sick and spent a weapon that explains the other man. we had pernde sechée and fondue. this was by far not the best fondue: a 3 cheese version that had to be kept very hot and was not all creamy and hardly coated the brot (I guessed cheap cheese with too much white wine). the desert was bland canned fruit salat.

Place was quite difficult to find, but it was worth it. fondue was very nice to choose with many different recipes, next time I would go for the truppet. service was very helpful, also speak some English to explain and advise! one must for...I!
