Refugio de Santiago - Nuevo Imperial

Out of his own garden, most of his herbs veggies flowers fruits are from there, But than end up on your plate as a delightful dish. Try before you die: duck, lucuma milkshake, tuna sour, quinoa risotto, taco taco, trout de refugio. If someone in...the middle of nowhere can make this, it is worth to drive for.

We visit our family, a party of 8 people. we could preorder with whatsapp and everything was ready when we arrived. the place, the garden, but also the inner, are very beautiful. the eating was very good, had some very nice camarones (although it was not season that is actually a negative thing as they should not fish it). they have a very good tacu tacu, good ceviche and a very beautiful chupe.

Also by the culinary standards of lima would notice the restaurant. climb the stairs, it is worth it: ceviche is super fresh, cocktails are balanced and really interesting, and the menu in general is creatiw without being obnoxic. crimped are from the garden where they are sitting! it is...not the cheapest to eat that can be found in peru, but is that really what you have behind you? it is excellent quality, locally, fresh and thoughtfully prepared. come in the evening or during the day to soak the garden. come for every meal of the day when they can!

Love the food, I had the chupe de cola de camarones and it was superb! Also try the lucuma milkshake and the different cocktails!

Es la segunda vez que me hospedo con mi familia en el Refugio de Santiago. El alojamiento es muy cómodo y agradable para pasar unos días en familia en el campo. El restaurant es excelente, con comida a base de productos locales y que satisface gustos refinados. El tacu tacu de pallares con calamares es espectacular; los platos con pato y cuy son altamente recomendables. Para tomar, el Tuna Sour o el Borgoña Sour, a base de pisco, son de lo mejor.
