Contribuiți la feedbackWe came to Cascades for evening snacks and tea/coffee and had a great experience. The ambience of The Grand is the highlight of the experience when you visit the Cascades, particularly at this time of the year event the Christmas decorations. The Monkey Pick tea is an extremely novel tea (plucked by specially trained monkeys) and had a bold flavor to it, the Organic Darjeeling White Tea was smooth, and the Mango Mint tea was refreshing. The Dalgona was quite intense and creamy, so may not be to everyone's liking. Overall, come here to enjoy a quiet oasis in the otherwise bustling Vasant Kunj area of Delhi.
Recently visited for dinner and would like to share my experience in short. Ambiance 10 on 10 as it is inviting and cozy. Service just top notch Now the main thing 'food ': Freshly cooked, ingredients are rich in quality that give me a mind blowing flavour. Presentation: Very impressive. Each plate is a work of art and one of its kind. Overall, thank you Cascade for such a nice experience. Highly recommended to all who are looking for a memorable dining experience.
Slowly life is coming to normal after personal loss to losing some dear ones, life has to go on....still we all should follow certain norms as COVID is not gone fully..... Hotels infact are following the basic norms of sanitization thoroughly. Season has come for Brunches, winter sunny afternoons. #TherGrandVasantKunj has started with #sundaybrunch with great spread. Amazed to see almost house full. The new team of The Grand, GM Mr Jagdeep Thakral, Exec Chef Sudarshan Bhandari, F&B Director Ankit Mittal ....all geared up to take up the existing outlets to new heights with all new menu. The Sunday Brunch has been organised here at The Coffee Shop, Cascades with all new menu crafted to start a fresh. The Cascades has a beautiful view with well manicured garden, landscapes....you rarely find this kind of greenery around with huge area. Live Kitchen is the norm these days. The Indian and Western cuisine with Salad and dessert stations had many options to choose from. Although we tried quite a few delicacies like....Corn kernel n apple salad, quinoa salad... Spinach and mushroom cannelloni, Grilled fish, Barbecue chicken....Dal Makhni, Paneer Masala, Murg Biryani. Loved Srilankan style Appam with egg alongwith lamb stew. Dessert ..... have a sweet tooth, so can't miss them at all....mixed berry panna cota, fresh fruit tart, choco cake, gulab jamun, chena sandwich, pineapple halwa.... had It for first time, was delicious. Had a wonderful time, interacting with the team alongwith sumptuous spread.
Food of the restaurant is absolutely amazing, very tasty with real authentic delicacy. I won’t hide that the non-veg I tasted here was the best ever. The Staff including the two caretakers his partner are the most polite, humble brotherly people I have met. Never say no, is the attitude they carry. Thank you for your brotherly hospitality.
Sunday Brunch The Grand #Vasantkunj !!! Winter is the best mausam specially in Delhi and this is the start of it .... with a little nip in the air one can enjoy just any activity be it walking in the Sunny afternoon Shopping or eating out ... it's best time for Food Festivals and Sunday brunches. The Grand at Vasant Kunj a huge property with beautiful lawns and #Cascades their Coffee Shop overlooking the well manicured lawns was a perfect getaway for an elaborate Brunch on a Sunday which they have recently started. Buffet has enormous choices with Indian and western cuisine. It's an open kitchen with Chef's cooking live. There is a salad bar and you can make Salad of your choice , Soup options, barbecue, grills, live Appam section , elaborate Indian and Western section and equally elaborate dessert section. We tried little bit from most of the sections starting from Salads than bread with egg on top served on a cute little Pan specially served by Chef B P Sharma who was looking forward to meeting us for long. Had Kafir lime grilled Fish and barbecue Chicken- much to our liking. Egg fry on top of Appam was something I tried first time which is Srilankan style and tasted quite nice with lamb Stew. From western section we liked the Mushroom n Spinach Canalloni, Vegetable Dloma Vegetable Polenta n potato rosti. Then Dal Makhni with Laccha parantha was star dish in Indian section. If you have a sweet tooth than you r gonna be spoilt for choices from all Indian n western desserts. Pineapple halwa is not to be missed and Indian sweets were all great. Wishing the new team bestest and thanks for the warm hospitality!!!
