Saqi - Nueva Delhi

First time here with friends for dinner after a hectic day in office....the environment is so peaceful....the environment was ok and authentic....the dal tadka and paneer dish was too gud.....enjoyed with my friends alot....will visit here again for sure....

Place is opposite to My Bar Restaurant and Lounge and in line to Jungle Jamboree.<br/ <br/ I went to this place on number of occasions with one of my former colleague and friend, when we wanted a light atmosphere and could not get that in my favorite My Bar just opposite to it.<br/ <br/ It is a good place to have beer and a good chit chat. Bar is an Old fashioned one and gives u a feel of bar in 80s Bollywood movies, which itself makes a different experience and is quite spacious as well.<br/ <br/ We have ordered Budweiser, Carlsberg Elephant or Tuborg on various occasion. I prefer Budweiser over any other beer because of its little sweet taste. Beer was served chilled as expected on our favorite corner seats and people were quick on service.<br/ <br/ Chakna we ordered were mainly French Fries, Peanuts or Murg tandoori Half. Quantity happens to be just appropriate in case of Murg Tandoori Half where as other two items were more than appropriate and taste was better than expected, this made us feel, though the hotel is old but yet trying there best to be in the race of retaining and acquiring customer.<br/ <br/ Once boozed to our levels we have always ordered Murg Biryani, which was always rich in taste and quantity enough to serve two after long boozing session.

We have been coming here for decades, and the food and the alcohol prices never disappoint. The place is dark and sketchy looking (to some people), but the waiters are respectful, will take your social requests into consideration, and is safe and unobtrusive. The music isn't loud, they'll turn off the televisions if you don't want background noise, overall a very solid Adda. <br/ <br/ Only recommendations the bathroom needs to be cleaned a little more frequently.

This is a old style bar and restaurant in alka Hotel, cp....<br/ <br/ It has bar and serves non veg too where in thier restaurant Vega just below this one is pure vegetarian and serves few cuisines even without onion and garlic.<br/ <br/ Well this place is for old drinkers, needs lots of maintainance work to be done..... Only USP is CHEAPEST LIQUOR IN CP.... Always happy hours 50% of on menu rates....<br/ And economical starters and food.....Aloo matar chat is my favorite and very nice quantity....<br/ <br/ Service is not that bad... Good to kill time with drinks with less pain on pocket.

Place is quite nice and I have visited there few times and would visit there regularly as this is one of the best places nearby my home. Guys please start the option for Home Delivery as I will be ordering everyday.Hope you do something better always.Regards
