Goldenes Posthorn - Nürnberg

When we’re in Germany, pork knuckle with beer is a must. This place has the best crusty skin I’ve ever tried. Far better than Hofbrau in Munich and Berlin, and better than in Augustiner in Munich. You should also try dished with chanterelles very good! Also, we tried all sorts of draft Tucher beer there and I must say it’s one of the best beers we’ve ever tried.

The oldest existing restaurant in Germany, with great service I was happy because they speak my language. Very cool interior, with pictures of famous people eating here. Duzo room and a large garden. Eat very well, all fresh and tasty. Perfect beers!

The local leader told us that this was a great place and he was right! felt like a place where the locals go instead of a tourist trap. Service was excellent and food was great! I had the bride and loved her. Others had the pork shoulders and loved them. Portions were very large and generous. And the beer was just perfect!

Very delicious food and the service was excellent. Loved the staff. The decor was very nice and felt like home. The pork shoulder was tender and tasty while the bratwurst so soooo filled with great flavor. What a great first meal in Nuremberg.
