Ganesha - Nürnberg

Great Indian fare. We haven't had an Indian meal this good since London. The interior and the food were authentic. We had our favourites, butter chicken and vegetable tandoori, with a nan. The meal came with wonderful rice. They provided a pepper cracker and sweet sauces to start. The location was right across from our hotel, Radisson park inn. Excellent for us but a hidden gem for most as the street itself isn't as welcoming. Just outside the wall and well worth the trip.

Goed eten in dit sfeervolle restaurant in Nurnberg in de buurt van Altstadt. Had hier nr118 chicken dansek besteld. Dit was goed. Naar een andere tafel werd een sissende kip gebracht dat zag er ook lekker uit ! Verder als drank de mango lassi genomen. Is ook aan te bevelen.Ik hecht veel waarde aan gastvrijheid. Dit was hier zeker goed. Vriendelijkheid personeel =9 Bediening = 8Eten = 8,5 Prijs /kwaliteitverhouding = 8Kortom:Het is wel voor herhalingvatbaar maar dat zal vast na een paar jaar weer zijn als ik weer eens in deze stad kom:)

I visited this restaurant because it is just across the street from Park Inn hotel where I was staying. Quite new restaurant, by the look of it. Interior nice, staff very friendly. The food is pricy for this type of restaurant, but surprisingly good. I ordered Multani soup (6.8 EUR) and Tandoori chicken (14.5 EUR). Everything is spiced perfectly and chicken vas one of the best I ever had. They are using some local vegatables to replace the indian greens, such as cabbage, erc. But still the taste is great. The servings are not extremely large, but they provide lots of rice and naan bread to go with it. Definitely liked the place!
