Pizz & Pasta - Noyal-Pontivy

Only one of the paved arcade streets, tables outside. Menu was not big, but enough for decisions. Portion sizes were quite small, although my pizza was delicious my husband felt that his pasta dishes were a child size. The waiter was very attentive. Just drink, but good coffee and cold beer. We loved the ambience and the view as the place in an old medieval building with chairs and tables inside or outside in the passage with umbrellas for shade. We would perhaps describe this place as a snack bar, instead of as a restaurant, whatever, we had a nice, though small lunch in the heart of the district for a reasonable cost. We received a loyalty card and we would go back there, given its proximity to the center, shops and attractions.

We stayed for lunch in Pontivy to pass some time while we waited for a gite and decided to go in this place. On street parking was easy and there were street tables and a nice interior (where we sat). The staff were very friendly and helped us with our poor French. I had a spaghetti carbonara that sounds pretty normal, but was really excellent. As the owner explained, they did the French version with cream and not the more dry Italian version; it was absolutely amazing. They also did burgers (rare, medium or well made). Everything was really nice. Recommend this place very much.

I found a wonderful place for lunch in a beautiful part of the old Pontivy. My daughter and I were only in town for an afternoon, but if our trips take us back to the area, we'll eat here again!
