Sedona Taphouse - Novi

Sedona was “EXCELLENT IN SERVICE AND FOOD “there was a large group of us (20+ and the waitress remained calm, friendly and professional throughout the entire session, she continued to make sure we were serviced properly, didn’t have to wait on her she was spot on to offer. We loved her service and was really happy with her performance, the gratuity wasn’t a problem because she deserved it and more. Thank you to everyone who helped make our day better, this was a special day/ time for us.

We ordered a Manhattan and a Tito’s and water from the bar. From the kitchen, we ordered shrimp scampi for an app, a medium-rare New York strip dinner with side salad and wood grilled asparagus and a Walleye dinner with asparagus and sweet potato fries. The supposedly “large” shrimp scampi were about the size of a quarter. The sauce was good and flavorful. The steak was small, dry, flavorless and chewy, The “wood grilled” asparagus tasted like it came out of a frying skillet. It was chewy, stringy and did not have any char to it like wood grilled asparagus does. The walleye was ABSOLUTELY the WORST fish I’ve ever had. It taste like the frozen fish sticks of the 70’s. They were the worst thing that was served to us. Our bill was $120.00. Not worth over $40. Needless to say we won’t go back.

My daughter's baby shower was here. The service, food, and room were exceptional. There was a separate entrance to the room we used, and we put balloons nearby to indicate where the room was. Everything went smoothly with the timing of drinks and food. The staff was friendly, cheerful, receptive, and accommodating. I was so proud that our family and friends were classy and polite to the waiters who were doing their best, and everyone was happy. They quickly resolved issues I forgot to go over, like allergies and needing an extra table. If I need a place in the Detroit area again, I will definitely have it here at the Sedona Taphouse.Vegetarian options: Even though we forgot to ask for vegetarian options, there was plenty of delicious food for vegetarians.Kid-friendliness: Children were welcome and treated like appreciated guests.Parking: During the holidays it will be extremely difficult to find a parking place at any store/restaurant in this area. This is a popular mall, so parking, later in the afternoons on weekends, is more challenging.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of options for people who are allergic to nuts.

Great Taphouse in the mall with a huge out door patio.Food was fresh, tasty and flavorful.Pretty empty for a weekday afternoon, attentive server and great service.Definitely will recommend and return.
