Oishi - Novi

Absolutely delicious! The sushi rolls are generous in size and incredibly flavorful. The staff is remarkably friendly and appreciative of customers, especially during these times. We also tried the shrimp dumplings, which were fantastic! The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, and it's clean and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing evening. This has become our favorite sushi place. We've visited multiple times and have never been disappointed. Whenever we're in the mood for great sushi, we head to Oishi!

I really like the location of Oishi; it’s situated in a charming downtown square surrounded by modern buildings and businesses. The staff are incredibly friendly, and in these COVID times, they maintain social distancing and wear personal protective equipment. We ordered a variety of dishes, and the food arrived quickly and hot. Be careful with the takoyaki; it can burn your mouth! The appetizers were excellent, and the soft shell crab was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. I was pleasantly surprised by the fish cake as well. I deducted one star because the quality of the sushi doesn’t quite match the other items on the menu. The ramen was good, the appetizers were great, but the sushi was just okay.

First and foremost, the food is fantastic. I have eaten here several times and I've never been disappointed. The staff was very curteous and they are following Covid-19 restrictions quite well. I highly recommend.

Ordered Miso Ramen and a couple sushi rolls (Dragon and Tempura Cali). They were both good, but I wouldn't say amazing. The staff was nice and fairly attentive, and the atmosphere was decent. The portion sizes for the ramen were huge! I recommend a visit if you're craving ramen.
