Contribuiți la feedbackWe went among friends, a group of ten men and women and a child, to cheat and have lunch. Unlike other places where you have the opportunity to castagnate paying how much collected a TOT to the Kg, here you pay a fixed figure per person at the entrance and you can collect all the chestnuts you want. If there were any!! The chestnut grove is too small compared to the size of people who access it (or vice versa... and chestnuts are few for all. With that figure you can buy 2.5 kg of chestnuts in the store, you can pick up a Kg per head if you like. Also because, besides being few, they are also small... Also, we wanted to have lunch at the restaurant: reservations do not accept, table service do not make... all in line to order, all in line to pay (strictly before consuming, all in line to wait for the food served on a plastic tray with disposable cutlery. If you need the bar service during lunchtime... forget it!! Finally, I don't know what kind of tax regime they can have, but I don't want a receipt all day.
Honestly, the tax situation in Italy is the cause of many episodes that I lived directly at the Chestnut Jungle. We arrive and find that to enter the hill we have to pay 10€ for each adult, moreover they pay the children of 10 years: the unsympathetic guard cashed and does not release any tax receipt. After paying in ́nero’, he gives us a bag for chestnuts. Arrived there is a chestnut paradise to collect, all children super happy.. Entering the restaurant there is a lit grill, but no chestnuts cooked! Then the time comes for lunch. Fixed menu of 25€ per person: a portion 'miniature' of lasagna to mushrooms, a dish of 'extra salted' tagliatelle; a dish of meat (2 micro sausages; 2 micro portions of meat;!1 mini dish of wild boar meat), contour (mini plate of salad; micro 2 potatoes in the oven) and at the end sweet. Very slow kitchen, room without heating! Of course the pos does not work! Do you pay in cash without receipt? receipt...nothing Practically spent : 75€ without receiving any tax documents!!! It’s not over: going away, at the exit you find the ‘nice cashier’ selling a cross suit, a bicycle, etc. Happy day for children, but unhappy with how you can cash in Black! In conclusion, I wonder why none of the local authorities go to verify this management of land and catering!! Where are the financiers?
Lovely place thanks to the secular chestnuts that make it unique. Despite the afa of these days, the place is quite ventilated and the temperature is quite pleasant. However, I must say that I was rather disappointed by the quality of the dishes: rather salty wild boar pappardelle, too thick noodles, almost inevitable, even these with too tasty ragù.. Meat and contours in the average, wine unfortunately imbevibile, almost vinegar!!!! I ask the managers, but did you taste it before proposing it?? I highly hope you can improve, because the place really deserves..
A really beautiful place, total peace, with a lot of outdoor space, good food and homemade, seems to be in the family.
In the middle of nature lovely place you can breathe the true clean air withoutrumori and smog.... simple menu with some special dish like the rabbit to the hunter we tried.... delicious excellent piada and good contours.. the herbs were top.... exquisite tagliatelle already tried... we have to come back to feel the so-called pizza.... Ideal place for families with children with outdoor games.... Clean place also in its pleasant simplicity.... nice person....
