Shocking introduction to a 20+ year old local pub now run by non local inhospitable wannabe publicans...what a shame. Need to learn manners to start with...beginning of the end! Will not Spend another penny of my money in there while these wannabes want to be in a dictatorship!!...very poor!

New landlords is very hospitable and the pub is clean. Must be the military background. There's one real ale and Guinness on draught. They currently don't take card but may do soon. Of you've ever been.. Go again it's back to its former glory

Jackie and Mark have really turned this place into a lovely local pub as the ideal landlords. Dog friendly, sometimes live music and themed nights and a cute little beer garden. Thursday quiz night and various other nights are always lively and busy and it's always a great atmosphere with a fab pool room and table. We've been quite a few times as a couple over the last 2 years and always have a good time. Always arrive to a warm and welcoming feeling. The little thoughtful and decorative touches with great toilets and accessories have turned this place into a true local gem. Anybody can come in and feel at home.... great selection of drinks too. What the village has been needing for a long time and the kind of pub we need to keep around!

Great proper pub, very clean and tidy, afriendly welcome and keeps a good pint,
