Ginza Japanese Teppan-yaki - Nottingham

Quite pricey but the food is excellent and the atmosphere is great. Make sure that you are OK sitting next to a stranger if you're going for teppanyaki though.

We hadn't visited this restaurant since before the pandemic, and I had forgotten how great it is. You sit while a chef cooks your food in front of you on a large hotplate. We ordered the Sunday lunch, which included prawns, salmon, sirloin steak with egg fried rice and bean sprouts. The entire meal was fantastic and offered at a very reasonable price. The service was excellent and the staff made us feel very welcome. We had been a few times before the lockdown and will definitely be returning. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Have been visiting Ginza for many years and have never failed to be impressed with the standard of food and service. We visited last night for my husband’s birthday and had a lovely time. The Team are always friendly and helpful and the Teppanyaki set menu was good value, with absolutely loads of food!

The food was definitely tasty and it's fun to watch the chefs cook it for you in front of you. I would say that it's quite expensive for what you get and that we left both saying that they could have been a little more generous with the quantity for that much money. We had the seafood meal option.

This restaurant is perfect for a family outing! They offer fresh seafood and a great atmosphere.
