Boncaldo - Norwood

I dined at BonCaldo to celebrate my fiancée's birthday. It was our first visit, and since it was a slow Wednesday night, the atmosphere was quite relaxed. We opted for the dinner special for two, which included two chef's specialty entrees, a side salad, and a bottle of wine (choice of house red or white) for $50. We also decided to start with the Arancini, which were fresh and flavorful, featuring Jumbo Klumpen crab meat. For our main courses, we had the Kalbsmarsala and the Kalbsparmagiana. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and generously portioned. We ended up taking some leftovers home and enjoyed finishing our bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon at a leisurely pace. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, allowing us to savor our time together without any rush. Overall, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was delightful. I can't wait for our next visit!

The food was incredible! The waiter was very attentive, and our meals were served quickly. The selection of liquor was outstanding, featuring the best variety I’ve ever encountered—two full pages devoted to every option that could capture your interest. The background music, while clean and classic, was a bit annoying. Parking was ample along Route 1, making it easy to find from the main road. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a lovely romantic dining experience or just a great spot to hang out with friends.

My wife and I sat at the bar, and I ordered an espresso martini that was absolutely delicious. The bread served with the red dipping sauce was also fantastic. For our appetizer, we had the carozza (fried mozzarella), which was excellent. For our main courses, we chose the Bolognese and the Pappardelle. Both dishes were incredible, but my favorite was the Pappardelle because I prefer a creamy sauce over a robust red sauce.

The food is excellent, especially the meatballs! The service is quite slow and you tend to sit waiting quite awhile typing Your fingers, but the food is great and worth waiting. It would be nice if they included at least one sugar-free dessert option, as our party of 7 had two diabetics who had to watch us eat our desserts. All a great experience.

Great food! I ordered a pasta dish that was amazing. They have nice bread that you start with and they give you sauce to dip which I really enjoyed. It's very dark inside but clean. The waitress was young and couldn't really recommend any wines and the dessert menu was small but overall great food and great experience
