Wig Pen - Norwich

The Sunday roasts at this restaurant are absolutely delicious and the service is excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here and highly recommend it.

During our stay in Norwich, we discovered this charming and welcoming pub. They offer a wide selection of ales at reasonable prices, delicious home-cooked meals, and most importantly, a warm and friendly reception from all the staff members. We had a wonderful lunch earlier in the week and decided to make a reservation for Sunday dinner, which turned out to be a fantastic choice. The roasts were tasty, fresh, and generously portioned, served with a large gravy boat. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. If you find yourself in the area, don't miss the opportunity to indulge in a meal at this delightful pub.

We had a delightful late lunch at this restaurant today. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, and the service was truly outstanding. We highly recommend it and will definitely be returning.

First time we've visited the Wig Pen. Amazing food with great service. Gererous portions. Reasonably priced and good range of beers. Highly recommend their Sunday roast. We had roast beef and roast chicken and it was excellent. Also recommend their steak n' ale pie with veg. Superb! Will definitely visit again.

Just 200m from my hotel, The Maids Head, this glorious old style and unspoiled English Pub has the best service both for drinks and food. Coming from Oz I needed proper bitter, not todays styles which I refer to as fizzy lemonade. The were excellent. Thank you. We ate while enjoying the RWC on the TV. The food was superb, England’s performance against Samoa less so! Thank you. A great experience
