Wagamama Norwich

I wanted to try Ramen and thought this would be a good place to do that. I was very disappointed to be honest. I don't know if this is how it should be or that they are just not very good at making it. Firstly, the half boiled egg was cold. Not just cold but clearly had just come out of the fridge and dropped into the Ramen and the yolk was ice cold. Is that normal? I would be surprised but I could be wrong. The dish was over spiced with some sort of chili flavour that hit you in the throat an was quite over powering. I like a bit of spice but this was surprisingly strong and unexpected. Not enough noodles. Just a couple of mouthfuls of noodle which seems like an odd thing when it's a noodle dish and noodles are cheap. Why not put more noodles in so it is a more filling dish.

This was our favourite place to eat. Eating out is a rare treat to us. The restaurant in Norwich was disappointing. First I had to ask for another menu as the one given to me was stuck together with sticky sauce. We were offered someone else's food twice.The plate very cold consequently the food cold. We asked for the bill only to be told sorry my shift has finished. I did mention the cold plates but the lad shrugged his shoulders. Usually good service and tasty hot food but not on this occasion.

Good food spoilt by presentation as the chicken gyosa dish came with the sambal already added to the dish. As a the meal was far too hot, the sambal is meant to be a side and added as required.

Just had a great meal before the theatre and our server Tess was excellent, help ful cheerful and just all round professional it make a restaurant experience so much nice when you have good service.

Part of a chain, so the food menu is the same as elsewhere. It's situated in a square of eateries just outside Chantry Place. There's a small amount of outdoor seating and more inside. There are however only bench seating and at other locations you can normally get booths as well which I would have preferred. Food was good and arrived quickly.
