Waffle House - Norwich

Use to go a lot when I was younger, but it didnt live up to the memories I had. I had bolognaise and it was ok but nothing special. There wasn’t many veggie options to choose from and my girlfriend ended up with a vegan dish where the sauce was very rich and overpowering and vegan sausages she didn’t like. But the milkshakes were really good.

The staff at The Waffle House were extremely friendly and patient with our children as they made their food choices. The majority of us ordered the delicious mini egg waffle special and it was fantastic!

This restaurant is a reliable tradition to visit. Sitting upstairs may take away some of the waffle house 'experience', as it is light and airy but lacks a certain charm. Service can be slow, possibly due to the stairs. However, the food is good.

Glad we booked a table as people were queuing outside in the rain. The waffles were very good with ample savoury and dessert toppings Service was slow, 50 minutes between courses. I thought £5.60 for a small bottle of local Lacons a bit OTT. Great venue for children and adults. Food reasonably priced.

Lovely little established place. Very busy with people queuing when we left. Waffles amazing and well worth a visit. Staff friendly and service outstanding. Would definitely recommend
