The Unthank Arms - Norwich

One of us had fish and chips the fish was not cooked, they did take cost of meal off the bill but then later we noticed they had charged us for three beers, we did not have any alcoholic drinks at all. The staff rectified the mistake on the bill and offered us a new meal but we did not have time to wait for another meal as we were off to a concert.

Pasta and wine for £10. So much food. I'm gluten free and they did a gluten free pasta with whichever pasta dish you chose. Lovely food and great portion sizes. I love pasta and wine Mondays &Tuesdays)

The drinks and serving were excellent, the venue has real character and the food was good. A very good choice of venue for a Christmas work lunch, we would go again.

Previous visits encouraged us to book a family Sunday lunch at The Unthank again. We weren’t disappointed. Lovely food, well cooked in a very pleasant space. Friendly helpful staff and efficient service.

We were a table of 11 for a family big-birthday and everything went like clockwork. No pre-ordering needed and all the food came out together was of a very decent quality. Beers were good too. Not eaten there for many years but would absolutely recommend it.
