The Mermaids Slipper - Norwich

What an amazing find, tucked away but a real treasure. We visited on a wet Wednesday evening in February, so understandably it was a quiet night, despite this we were given a very warm welcome and there was a really comfortable feeling about the place. The front of house staff were excellent, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly and behind the scenes the chef certainly knows what he’s doing. We found it hard to choose from the menu, all three of us would happily have had anything from the menu! The wine list is good and very reasonably priced. Service was efficient but not at all rushed and at the end of our meal we all agreed it was a very memorable meal and we would definitely like to return next time we are in Norfolk. They are definitely doing things right and making an effort to run special events eg Mother’s Day. If you want a good meal in Norfolk do try this restaurant, they deserve every success!

Fantastic atmosphere service first class and the best meal we have had for a very long time

Excellent food, very good service and lovely surroundings. Would definately recommend and will be going again.

This was our first visit and wont be our last we live not far away, my only comment was the service was slow and it wasnt busy, but will certainly go again.
