Patisserie Valerie Norwich

The tea and coffee at this restaurant were excellent. Unfortunately, we were unable to get our first or second choices of cakes. The cakes we did have were good, but not what we had hoped for. It was only Saturday lunchtime, so we were surprised that so many cakes were not available. The staff were friendly and attentive. Additionally, they offer Soya milk for customers who need or prefer it.

A disappointingly mediocre sandwich. I purchased a 'Valerie Club' from Uber for £10.50. That's an exorbitant price for a sandwich. I received only 1 thin slice of pastrami that barely covered the sandwich. The lettuce was wilted from being overheated. The sandwich was also under-seasoned. While I understand there may be some quality loss with delivery, this was unacceptable. It's disappointing that a company would endorse such a subpar product at such a high cost. Shame on you.

Chose afternoon tea, scones were stale, very poor choice. I should have known better as it was the only empty coffee shop, no wonder!

I really enjoyed my experience at this place. The high tea was very elegant and fancy. I visited during December and they had a special Christmas-themed high tea menu. They even served black forest hot chocolate which was delicious!
