Great Wall Chinese Takeaway - Norwich

I didn't realize it was a vegetarian Chinese restaurant, but the quality of the dishes is excellent. I would definitely eat here again.

The Chinese food here is absolutely delicious, even though it's not made with real meat, it still tastes fantastic. I will definitely be ordering from this restaurant again, and the staff is very friendly.

I have dined at this restaurant several times and I highly recommend it. The woman who runs the place is incredibly friendly and genuinely cares about her customers and the quality of her food. I have been a vegetarian for a few years now, but even my carnivorous friends have been impressed by the authenticity of some of the faux meat dishes. The food is always freshly prepared, unlike many other Chinese takeout spots I've tried. Initially, I was disappointed that they don't offer delivery service, but I don't mind picking up my order when I see the welcoming smile of the staff. I would suggest ordering in person rather than over the phone if you are getting multiple dishes. A hidden gem in Norwich that comes highly recommended!

This is the first time I’ve not been able to identify what I was eating, rice came as a block, no idea what the chicken balls were, as it wasn’t chicken! Special fried rice contained what looked like a handful of frozen mixed veg, and the meat in the house curry looked and had the consistency of spam. Simply awful!

.... but it did. I am not a meat fan anyway but do like my prawns but decided to give it a go as I have heard good reports. It was absolutely delicious vegetables cooked to perfection and not all soggy like some chinese restaurants. AND it was gorgeously hot again sometimes I have to reheat food making the taste go 'off '.
