Overton's Seafood - Norwalk

I usually don't enjoy fried seafood, but when we had out-of-state guests, I knew we had to take them to Overton's. I'm really glad I went along because the food was fantastic! You could truly taste the scallops and shrimp, which is quite unusual for fried dishes. My main complaint with fried seafood is that it often ends up tasting mostly like breading, but that wasn't the case here. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I ordered a lobster roll, and it arrived cold and unappetizing. The customer service was terrible. I waited in my car for 15 minutes before I finally heard someone call out a number for a lobster roll. When I received my food, it was cold, and they refused to reheat it, replace it, or issue a refund. Management stated that they couldn't afford to lose money by preparing another lobster roll or giving a refund. But what about me, the mistreated customer? The ladies at the register claimed they had been calling my number, but that wasn't true. I was sitting right in front and clearly heard other numbers being called, just not mine. It feels like many restaurants have changed for the worse since the pandemic. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere!

I happened to be passing through town and discovered this charming waterfront restaurant. With their delicious Lobster Roll and the lovely patio dining right by the water, I couldn’t decide which I liked more. The food was fantastic, and it’s in an ideal location just off the road. If you're looking for a lunch spot, I highly recommend stopping here and enjoying an ice cream cone while taking in the stunning marina views. I will definitely return. It’s a wonderful find!

Overton's is located directly on Norwalk Harbor. The food is always reliable, featuring classic waterfront fare such as burgers, clam strips, and clam bellies. There's a deck at the back with picnic tables that provides ample seating. By the way, their milkshakes are fantastic, with flavors like strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate.

My go-to spot for a quick meal by the water! The prices are fantastic, and the service is excellent. My mom is especially a fan of the chili dogs!
