The Village Scoop Ice Cream Shop

Whenever I'm in Vermont, I always hear the best opinions about creeme, mostly from tourists who come just a few miles for something exceptional. Let me tell you, that was the best creeme I've ever had in my life! During my visit, I went twice because I wanted to check out the other creeme places, and even though some are nearby, Village Scoop is by far the best. The portion sizes are massive! I’ve never encountered such generous servings of creeme before, and it really makes a difference! It's thick, cold, and delicious—truly amazing! It’s no surprise that this drive-thru stand always has a line. I absolutely love it!

Let me start by saying I think I'm an ice cream connoisseur. I think I consume more ice than most people. While we visited Burlington, we went to the village and I think I had the best ice I ever had. The prices were very reasonable, you get a lot for what you pay. The staff was very friendly. They were also extremely helpful in determining what taste I got. Let me try some samples. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. If you are in Burlington or surroundings, a trip to the Village Scoop is worth your time and travel.

I stopped by the restaurant after my bike tour, and I'm really glad I did. As a fan of creamy dishes, I can confidently say this was the best I've had in quite some time. I recommend visiting, but be prepared for a long wait during peak hours—it’s definitely worth it. I can't wait for my next bike tour!

On the day I visited, the staff came out to take orders directly from our cars while we were in line, which really sped up the process—normally, people have to wait outside to place their orders. They even handled payments right there, which I thought was a brilliant idea. It reminded me of the old days when fast food places took orders from your car, allowing families to enjoy their meals inside. What a nice touch! I may not be able to go as often as those who live nearby, but I definitely plan to return more frequently than I used to. I’ll give it two thumbs up!
