The Red Lion Inn - Northumberland

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Parking is an issue as there is zero on site parking, there is space for a few parking spaces for overnight guests which could be utilised. Rooms are lovely, very good standard. Breakfast was small, which as a shame. But overall very pleasant stay. Rooms: 5 Service: 4 Location: 3 Hotel highlights: Romantic

Called in today as a party of four with a dog. Been here numerous times and it never disappoints. Plenty of people in for a Monday afternoon but not crowded. Good selection of Ales and everyone who calls in is made welcome. Very popular with all walks of life and dog friendly in bar and garden area. Highly recommend as it just has a very relaxed atmosphere. Nearby activities: Absolutely great beach to walk on a mere 100yds away and nice views from the terrace at the bottom of the beer garden.

Wonderful pub. Quiet and charming, could have happily spent the entire day here.

Nice little pub serving amazing pizzas (the Stilton and mushroom is my new favourite! Great atmosphere, especially for the quiz night.
