After I waited for other customers to leave, I approached the staff member who sold it to me and told her that the roll was old and that I was charged full price for it. She insisted it was fresh, but I know my sushi, and it definitely wasn’t. Eventually, she offered to replace it with a new roll, which was nice, but I would have preferred a refund. It seems like they rely on people taking their food home and not realizing the difference in quality. I've been a loyal customer for a long time, but you live and learn. I hope they have a good weekend.
I really enjoy the sushi here. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

I was charged $7.50 for a container of rice that wasn't even full. Would half expect that with a meat dish but Not a container of just rice! This is Dissapointing and upsetting!!!
The owner of this place, Harry, treats the staff and customers very poorly. He raises the prices of food while using cheaper ingredients and telling staff to use less meat in the sushi. He has a surveillance camera installed just to spy on the staff and tell staffs not to take food or drinks. Imagine not being able to have a cool drink in a hot summer day because your owner doesn’t allow you to have a $2 can of coke. He also creates different standards to different staff, where he turns a blind eye to some that doesn’t clean the sushi bar and works slowly, while pushes other hardworking people to work more, while having the same pay. He continues to push more work and decrease working hours and adds Uber and Menulog but still have the same 3 people. He is extremely ignorant to customer feedbacks even when a customer was sick to the food, he refused to take any actions to that.
