Rosabianca Vineyards - Northford

This place is super charming, with patio seating and a cozy spot overlooking a bit of the vineyard below. The wine prices were reasonable, starting at $9 a glass. So, why the lower rating? I didn’t appreciate being prompted for a tip when I presented my credit card. It felt awkward having someone standing there watching me decide whether to tip, especially since I've never felt the need to tip at a winery. While the vineyard doesn't require tipping, even having the option makes it seem like they're encouraging it. Furthermore, I know people claim that guests have requested the ability to tip via credit card, but the default percentage was set to 18%, which really took away from what should have been a lovely visit to the winery.

My first visit was fantastic! The staff was incredible, and it was a nice touch for the owner to stop by our table to chat with us, which made us feel even more welcome. I will definitely be returning for a second visit!

With numerous vineyards in and around Wallingford, Rosabianca is truly a hidden gem! As a family-run business, it provides a wonderful atmosphere for an evening of savoring their exquisite wines. I highly recommend giving them a try. The setting is lovely, especially with the outdoor tables and patio. The new manufacturing building is coming along nicely, and the addition of the New Haven Pizza truck is fantastic.

Fantastic restaurant with excellent wine! I visited with my boyfriend, and we had an amazing experience. The owner, Charlie, personally visited each table to chat with guests and check on how everything was going. It truly feels like a genuine family-run establishment, and we will definitely be returning!

Rosabianca is a hidden gem in Connecticut. We recently visited the area to celebrate my future sister-in-law's bachelorette party. After a disappointing experience at another vineyard, our group discovered Rosabianca by chance. The ambiance, service, and overall atmosphere were exceptional. If you're in the area, this family-owned vineyard is a must-visit. Lisa was fantastic in helping us choose our tastings and recommending food options. Even though we had just met, it felt like we had known her for years. I definitely plan to return once the warmer weather arrives.
