Contribuiți la feedbackGood food and a local favorite. there are many supposed Italian restaurants in the opposite. most of them are simply schovel eating: baptizing portions, basic components, and that's it. Do you want sauce? we have your tomato sauce. you want bark, huh, pig? we have bark, huh, pork. do you want? oregano? basil? garlic? rosemary? no, but we have tons of salt. Yes, salt, you really want that. we have tried Italian in medina, brunswick and several in cleveland. all follow this basic plan. that is what happens too often for italian. fortunately this is not the case at spennato. the paprika, olive and crushed tomatoes on their Olivata dresses are fresh and unmistakable. her pasta bolognese is rich in bark and cheese, but they can taste the wine and garlic. her carbonara is genuine, not carbonara alfredo: speck, eier and parmesan. While we haven't tried much on the menu, everything we eat from north or south Italy fits quite well to the bill instead of being from north or south Italy, with the way of the Don't-Use-Spices-Midwest.Note: spennato's is located in a ground-level business area: safe, but I don't want to make a moon on the north. it is also very popular with older people who have discovered what it is about, so at any time of the week, they call for reservations. we arrived on Wednesday night and thought we could get in at 20 o'clock like walk-ins and wait an hour. they have been warned.Service is gracious, the interior is casual, the place in good repair. that brings us a thumb.
Calamari was awesome. the place was removed from the cut, but someone told me they had the best pasta, so I would check it. the service was somewhat slow and we had to order a second batch of calamari because the first batch was somewhat over boiled. after the second charge of calamari it came uphill the pasta was great I had the lasagne the brot was fabulously soft and fluffy and the house wine was very smooth. I'm not crazy about this place, but I want to go back and try the pizza.

Met a business associate for lunch and got the cheese ravioli at the server's suggestionIt arrived quickly, tasted good, and was a nice lunch portion.
