Mama likes water views and has already personally told every stone of the waterway on Lake Kiessee in Göttingen. So you have to think of something new as a good daughter. So from Northeim, whose pebbles already offer an inviting picture of the highway: sailing yachts, glittering water surface, very catastrophic at the current temperatures. Unfortunately, walks are limited to a few 100 m and there is also a veritable beach (not yet). The “Sea-terraces” therefore lure after a short physical recovery. A beautiful beach club with restoration (about 5 km from the Northeim Nord motorway exit). Comfortable chairs under large parasols and sun loungers on the beach (double beer brands are welcomed. They sit here under the week really wonderful and can make the view over the lake and the sailboats graze, watching a swan pears with their guys. The nearby motorway is quickly forgotten. Mom didn't want to leave. We were there at noon. Mama had Tagliatelle with turkey breast and broccoli from the lunch card and I asparagus with young potatoes and sauce Hollandaise and cooked ham from the asparagus card, which offered the usual suspicious supplements. The asparagus was very good, tasteful and of the right consistency. Also the Pellkartoffeln with bowl (wonderful! were cooked to the point. Before the order I asked the waiter whether the Hollandaise was freshly prepared or out of the bag, and he replied with the chest tone of the conviction that it was freshly prepared. I giggled into me and ordered them, although I knew that this would not be the case, because the German Wash Road Act prohibits the production of a Hollandaise in gastronomy and allows only a few exceptions. There was a somewhat tasty mayonnaise, because the supposedly freshly prepared Hollandaise was cold or warm but without skin. After dinner I thanked the waiter for the use of the brand Lukull; he crumbled a little. Overall a surprisingly good restaurant for the beautiful location. I've experienced a lot worse when a nice location offers food, e.g. the Bobby Reich in HH. Point withdrawal for the fact that toilet paper was provided on the ladies' palace (1.5 hours after the local opening) only on request.
